Give Peace A Chance 2008

Press communication: Single release June 2th 2008 of Achim Schultz/OverTwenty on the A side "Give Peace A Chance 2008" B side "Good Night Evelyn"

TV/Radio – Promotion Text “Give Peace a Chance”

Lead-Guitar: Holger Enghard, Drums: Carsten Enghard.

With best wishes,
Achim Schultz

TV/Radio – Promotion Text “Give Peace a Chance”

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Would you please be so kind as to pass this message on to your editorial team

Of course, we never keep back the latest news:

Our new single, “Give Peace a Chance”, from the Album “Think Big” will be released on June 2, 2008. And there is a special story behind this cover design: It was created
by Klaus Voormann (Beatles Revolver Cover). As many of you know, he was a member of the original Plastic Ono Band on stage with John Lennon, Eric Clapton and Alan White
when “Give Peace a Chance“ was recorded. Achim Schultz has now written his own version based on this original, which is attracting great attention and sympathy from many
John Lennon fans as well as from the peace movement in the United States. A growing number of Radio Stations, not only oldies stations or Beatles-aficionados, are playing
our song. On April 26 and 27 we are shooting a video in an old bunker, which is going to be edited and mixed with spectacular clips in cooperation with Greenpeace Hamburg Germany e.V.
Nine major tv stations - especially B1 Nation TV and UN Tower of Geneva, Switzerland - have already agreed to broadcast our video.
Achim Schultz: I wrote this song and I am producing this video clip, not only because I have children, but also because peace in the world will never have a rest …..
I am singing this song from John Lennon’s point of view, as if he was here right now for a short visit. “Nearly 40 years have passed but nothing has changed …”

We are very grateful and happy about the big support we receive from the media and we already have lots of positive feedback from our audience. Please check the internet
on: www.myspace.com/overtwentyachimschultz.

We hope that we have also attracted your attention and interest. If you want more information, please feel free to contact us.

With best wishes,
Achim Schultz
